In 1997, God spoke to Pastor Davis, through prayer, regarding the ways we were to reach the lost not only at home, but also abroad. When he shared this vision with Cornerstone Church, the new paradigm that God spoke to him was birthed. As a local congregation, we were to focus on a nation, wearing blinders, in order to plant churches while preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. As we took on this vision to help Kenya by starting two thousand new churches, we saw thousands of people saved and set free—entire tribal groups changed—changed not by receiving food or medical supplies, but by receiving the Living Water found only in Jesus Christ. As this paradigm emerged, Cornerstone has become an integral part of planting churches all over the world ... from the most remote jungles of South America to the highlands of Thailand to cities in Vietnam ... with all of the focus remaining on winning souls and planting churches. If we truly believe that the answer to all of our needs is found in Jesus, why not believe it is the answer to what the world needs? It just needs Jesus.
